Can I speak to a reference buyer in my market?
Sometimes, and only with that buyer’s permission. Most importers will not talk to a competitor’s prospect, so we normally offer a market-specific reference in a product category you do not compete in. Ask when you request a quote.
What do buyers complain about most often?
Two things come up more than any other: carton damage on mixed containers, and artwork changes that slip the schedule. Both are fixed by approving the dieline early and by loading a mixed container with dividers rather than loose cartons.
